Receptions

Our $1,800 package price covers most of the cost of your wedding, except your Reception lunch or dinner. There are many cost options available in Estes for your Reception. Your Reception may be held at locations other than the Pavilion, but it will still be necessary to book the Pavilion or an indoor Reception to provide a place for the Guests to assemble and for shelter in case of inclement weather. While we do not pay the modest cost for the Reception facility, it is important to have it available as part of our overall wedding arrangement.

Wedding cake and flowers are very personal and we do not provide them, but they are available from local vendors at www.EstesParkWeddings.com, or you may bring your own.

After the wedding,  photos  and photo tour in our Rolls-Royce (“R-R”), we can take the Bride and Groom in the R-R to this Pavilion on Lake Estes, or other indoor facility,  for a grand entrance. If the Pavilion is rented for all day from 9 am to 9pm , your guests can arrive at any time and enjoy the water sports at the adjacent Marina all day. The Pavilion enjoys a great view across Lake Estes and of Long’s Peak, similar to that from Panorama Lodge.

In the event of inclement weather, we can do the Ceremony in the Pavilion  or an indoor facility, then later take the Wedding Party into RMNP for the photo tour.

The Pavilion located right across Lake Estes from Panorama Lodge,  is owned by the local recreation and parks district. We can make the reservation and pay the  deposit,  with the Bride and Groom later making the specific arrangements directly with the owner, and paying the balance due. The Pavilion can accommodate over 120 people for a low cost rental of $75 for 5 hours or $130 for 12 hours (9 am to 9 pm), plus a reasonable set-up fee. A catered meal can be hosted from a local caterer at a cost of $12/person and up.  Or a do-it-yourself BBQ or Western steak fry on their 8 burner gas grill ($40 fee)–example: 100 rib-eye steaks @ $8 = $800,  plus potato salad, beans, keg of beer. Your guests, dressed casually, can also enjoy renting their many boats, canoes, kayaks, pontoon boats for a scenic Lake trip, or bikes for a 4 mile ride on the trail around the Lake. You can also bring in a DJ, or use your own music. Liquor is permitted. The result is a classy, unique, low cost wedding in popular Estes Park that your guests will not soon forget.

We will provide you with information on 5 local caterers that we recommend,  and you can check their websites for menus and prices.

The Town of Estes Park now has a new $20 million Community Center with a Reception room which can hold 60 people, or expanded to 90 or 120 people, with commercial kitchen for caterers and a full wall beside the dance floor to display DVD’s while dancing  (see Photography page).   It is available at a very reasonable cost .
